Brazil Coffee
Behind the name Santos lies a mild and aromatic coffee from Brazil. High-quality Arabica beans give it a very special, soft note, with a slight chocolate-like taste. As a low-acid coffee, it is very well tolerated, but it does not lose anything in taste. Brazil offers the most diverse coffee-growing regions in the world. Brazil Santos is grown in the savanna region of Cerrado, where more than 10,000 different plant species occur and the trees retain their leaves all year round. However, the coffee was named after the city of Santos, the most important port city in Latin America, from where it is shipped. With a share of world production of approximately 42%, Brazil is the largest coffee producer worldwide. The country produces 33 to 46 million 60kg bags of coffee per year.
